No, as per our Terms & Conditions, cat sitters are not allowed to accept payment in cash, bank transfer or any other payment method outside of Cat in a Flat.
Why is this a requirement?
When a payment takes place outside of Cat in a Flat, we won't have a record of it. That means your booking won't be covered by our Cat in a Flat Guarantee or our 24/7 customer support. Accepting payments outside of Cat in a Flat could also lead to account suspensions and/or penalty fines for both the sitter and the owner.
So, if someone asks to pay you directly—say no and remind them that paying through Cat in a Flat keeps everyone’s information and booking secure.
