We are sorry to hear that you think that you have been paid less than expected.
Here could be a few reasons why.
Cat in a Flat Fees
As we don't charge a subscription fee, we do take a 19% fee from every booking. This fee provides you with customer support, platform maintenance, community engagement and education. This in turn will help you find even more jobs.
We've kept this fee as low as possible, but if you feel you're earning less than you'd like then maybe you want to look at raising your prices a little? We’d only suggest doing this once you have your first review in.
Also please remember that you can easily edit the price of a booking if needed - so if you wanted to ask for a little more for travel expenses for example, you could give the owner the new quote and when you're both happy you can go ahead and edit it.
The price in your booking shows the amount that the owner will have to pay from which our fee will be deducted so as to not lead to confusion when cat sitters and owners speak about the price.
A previous booking has been refunded
If you have already received a full payment that is later refunded or partially refunded, Stripe will attempt to claim the money back from your bank account. If it is unsuccessful, Stripe will put your account into a negative and deduct the amount owed from your next cat sitting job. Please login to your Stripe dashboard for further information.
