How do I get paid for bookings?

When joining Cat in a Flat, all cat sitters are required to connect their bank account through Stripe, our secure payment partner.


Payment for your booking will leave the cat owner's account the day before your booking starts. It will then take 5 - 7 business days to automatically transfer to your bank account.


Cat in a Flat fees will automatically be deducted, so all you need to do is concentrate on your kitty cuddles and belly rubs.


Connecting your bank account:

  • Login and go to your Settings

  • Click on the ‘Connect Bank Account’ button

  • You will then be taken to a form to fill out in Stripe. Please follow their instructions and supply the information they need for verification

  • Once complete, click submit and that’s it you are now done :)

Important: Getting booked and paid through Cat in a Flat is required per our Terms & Conditions. Never accept cash or checks as payment—this will flag your account for suspension, and make your bookings ineligible for the Cat in a Flat Guarantee and 24/7 customer support.
