When do I pay the cat sitter?

After you have had a successful Meet & Greet with your cat sitter, please press the ‘Book & Pay’ button to confirm your booking.

How the payment works:

  • When pressing ‘Book & Pay’ we will take your payment details securely through Stripe*. Please note that with every booking there will be a small transaction fee.

  • The money will then only be taken from your bank account the day before the booking starts. This gives you enough time to make changes if needed.

  • If you have selected to use another payment method instead of a credit card or IBAN, you will be asked to make the payment 2 days before the booking starts.

  • The money will then be paid to your cat sitter within 5 - 7 business days.

* Stripe will keep your details safe until the money gets taken. Stripe offers payment via mobile, desktop or tablet and sends you updates to your phone. Cat in a Flat will not obtain any account information.

Important: Booking and paying on Cat in a Flat is required, per our Terms & Conditions. Never pay by cash —this makes your booking ineligible for our Cat in a Flat Guarantee and 24/7 support.
