A police check means that a cat sitter has a certificate stating that they do not have any criminal convictions. Before you book your cat holiday care, you can ask your local cat nanny to bring their certificate when you arrange your first meeting with them.
We encourage all cat sitters to obtain a police check, but this is not compulsory to join our community. If a cat feeder does have a police check it will be clearly shown on their profile page.
Police checks don't have an official expiry date and it's up to the owner to decide if they accept it or not.
